The lovable Little Sisters of Hoboken are back!
After the success of their first benefit performance Sisters Robert Anne, Leo, and Mary Paul (more commonly known as ‘Sister Amnesia’), along with the long-suffering Reverend Mother, having been bitten by the theatre ‘flea’ decided to put together another musical revue to thank everyone who supported them. But things quickly spiral out of control as the Sisters learn there is a talent scout in the audience. And then come the Franciscans: a rival order who claims that Sister Amnesia is one of their own.
Watch as our beloved Sisters sing, dance, roller skate, play bingo, and brawl with Franciscans in a heartwarming, laugh-out-loud show of biblical proportions!

Suellen Swaney is thrilled to be back on stage at the Brown County Playhouse. She holds degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education from the University of Evansville and a Masters in Voice from the University of Illinois. Previous opera and musical theatre roles include: Mercedes/Carmen, Sister Hubert/Nunsense, The Witch/Into the Woods, Doris/Platinum Girls, The Leading Player/Pippin, Barb/Romance/Romance and Optimistic/Balancing Act. In addition to her love of performing, Suellen also has a passion for sharing music through teaching. For over 30 years, as a public-school music educator, adjunct professor of voice, Kindermusik owner/teacher, and private voice instructor, she has had the privilege of teaching music to students of all ages from infant to adult. She is currently a private voice instructor and CFO of Robert Swaney Consulting, Inc.
Originally from Evansville, Suellen now lives in Greenwood with her husband, Bob. She is mom to Katie and Glenn who are her pride and joy! She would like to thank her family for supporting her and for being her inspiration every single day! Suellen would like to dedicate her performance in loving memory of her biggest fan, her Mom. “Look Ma, I made it!”
NICOLE THOMPSON (Sister Hubert) is excited to be appearing in her first show at Brown County Playhouse. Favorite past productions include INTO THE WOODS (Jack’s Mother) and I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS (Norma). She’s also been music director (I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, LITTLE WOMEN) and co-producer (NARNIA) of shows with Hendricks Civic Theatre. She’s a new resident of Franklin where she lives with her amazing husband and two fabulous sons and teaches kindergarten in Greenwood. She wants to thank Casey and the whole cast for the absolute blast she’s had with this show!
Christine is excited to reprise her role of Sister Mary Amnesia on the BCPH stage. She is a graduate of the University of Evansville, with a degree in Music Education and is in her 31st year of teaching middle school choir in Martinsville. She was seen most recently on the playhouse stage in Believe The Magic of Christmas and as Ruby Lee in Platinum Girls. Favorite roles elsewhere include the Baker’s Wife/Into the Woods, Dolly Levi/Hello, Dolly!, Bianca/Kiss Me Kate and Joanne/Godspell. She recently worked with Worldstrides in New York City as a chaperone for the middle school choir Honors Performance Series. Christine sang with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir for 6 seasons which she considers one of her greatest musical endeavors. She is thankful for her greatest blessings; her family and her students.
Danielle Myers (Sister Robert Anne) is up to her zany habit humor reprising her role as the wacky Sister Robert Anne from Nunsense, performed on this stage five years ago! When she isn’t shenanigating on stage, Danielle teaches science at Center Grove High School and organizes world travel opportunities for both students and adults. This year she embarked on an African safari through Kenya and Tanzania and took a group of students on a cultural immersion tour in Switzerland and Italy. She is honored to take the stage once again with the little Sisters of Hoboken. Danielle would like to thank her friends, family, cast and crew for their love and support.
Brynne Foster is thrilled to be reprising her role as Sister Mary Leo! Originally from Idaho, Brynne has been participating in community theatre since she was 7. Brynne has appeared in Nunsense, Annie, Oliver, It’s a Wonderful Life!, and was the narrator in Joseph and Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Brynne would like to thank her husband, Josh for always encouraging her to pursue her passions and her children, Brooklynn (7) and Jack (4) for helping her run lines.
Lauren grew up performing in Center Grove productions, working with Kathleen for the first time in 2007. She is so excited to be working with several life long mentors on this production. Favorite previous roles include Sala in Letters to Sala and Betty Blast in Footloose. When she isn’t onstage, Lauren can be found spending time with her husband, snuggling her two kitties, and running her small business, Klae Design Co.
A “retired” teacher, who volunteers at the Brown County Humane Society. She taught English, Speech and Theatre for 35+ years at Center Grove High School where she directed over 90 plays and musicals, including an original show and adapting a movie to the stage. She also through theatre as an Adjunct Professor through Vincennes University and the University of Indianapolis. Casey’s passion is theatre, and she tries to stay connected wherever possible. She thanks her family, friends, cast and crew for their support and encouragement.
Bob is a graduate of Indiana University at Indianapolis with a business degree in Accounting. He is a Controller for Shrewsberry & Associates, LLC, an Engineering Consulting firm on the northeast side of Indianapolis. He has worked with the Community Theater program at the Playhouse on and off for about 6 seasons. He has also worked as a volunteer in the theater programs at Center Grove High School (20+ years),Whiteland High School (7 years) and Mooresville High School (4 years). He greatly appreciates the continued trust and opportunity Ms. Kersey and the Playhouse management have given him to be a part of the production process and has enjoyed working with all members of the production staff, performers and crew. Theater has become a passion for him and he loves the challenge of working with the adults and students to become the best performers they can be.
Tiffany is a former choir director turned Worst Cook, turned warehouse supervisor. As a performer, she has been seen on the playhouse stage in Believe, The Magic of Christmas. She has choreographed for Platinum Girls, Believe, the Brown County Rising Stars Summer Camp and several youth theatre productions in Greenwood, including Peter Pan, James and the Giant Peach and Jungle Book. She would like to thank her family, friends and two sons for all their love and support.
